As a French visitor with a taste for tranquility, my stay at Hotel & Spa Chateau De L'Ile was a mix of relaxation and slight disappointment. The château is set amidst a beautiful park, offering a serene ambiance perfect for unwinding. The spa facilities, including the indoor pool, sauna, and steam room, provided moments of rejuvenation. However, the lack of functioning air conditioning in our room during a summer weekend was discomforting.The breakfast options were limited, especially for vegans, and the high price did not match the offerings. The covered pool lacked proper ventilation, making it challenging to spend time there. On the upside, the spacious room with a view of the woods and river was delightful. The friendly staff added to the experience, providing assistance when needed.Despite the hiccups, the château's charm and the relaxing spa services make it a decent choice for a retreat. The property's beauty and the tranquil environment are ideal for a peaceful escape. The professional staff and the calming spa treatments enhance the overall experience, inviting guests to unwind amidst the serene surroundings.
